General description
The Lemsteraak "Goudhaan" is a rare beautifully built traditional sailing ship with the allure of a classic and the comfort of a modern yacht. Assembled and built in 2001 by the first owner completely according to his own wishes, using only renowned craftsmen and high-quality materials.
The beautiful hull was designed by the Langenberg brothers and built at Jachtwerf Sijperda in Heeg. The hull is made of 7 mm steel.
The technical installations were expertly constructed as was the interior finish that exudes craftsmanship and class. Refined wood carving details in the cockpit and a warm, classic look make the ship timelessly stylish.
- Headroom throughout the ship is approximately 2.00 - 2.20 meters.
- Many stainless steel details (bollards, winch blocks, mast support)
- Webasto central heating system for comfortable heating and hot water
- Three cabins, two of which are forward cabins with bunk beds

The fully teak-finished cockpit is generous in size and can accommodate a large party. Benches all around and in the middle a heavy, professionally equipped steering position with:
- Hydraulic steering wheel steering
- Electric bow thruster
- Hydraulically operated leeboards
Furthermore, the "Goudhaan" features:
- Four Meissner winches in the cockpit
- Mainsail, jib, jib and halfwind
This ship is designed for serious sailing while maintaining comfort and safety.
